Camp Lion Knoll offers healthful fun and adventure plus the chance to develop new skills, interests and friendships. Through a wide range of activities, sports, swimming, nature, music, arts, crafts and special events, children ages four and a half to twelve years old are introduced to fun in the outdoors and gain a healthy respect for the environment and
for each other. Most important, children are guided and supervised by experienced counselors and specialists who give them repeated opportunities to gain independence, self-reliance, and feelings of confidence and self-worth.

Camp Lion Knoll Programs
Swimming:
Every camper swims twice daily (weather permitting) for 45 minute sessions.
One session consists of swim lessons taught by certified swim instructors
while the other session is free swim. Surrounding our swim area is a large,
sandy beach where castles, moats and rivers are created during daily beach play.
Creative Arts:
Camp provides the ideal location to combine nature with a traditional art program.
We use an innovative approach to expand children's creativity by integrating
typical art supplies with items found around the camp environment
as well as recycled materials.
Nature Adventure:
Our nature program is devoted to providing children with hands on experiences.
Campers will explore a beautiful, natural environment of woods,
fields and brooks.
Our goals are to promote environmental awareness, appreciation and respect through
a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and games.
Camper's Chance:
Once a week, campers take part in a summer long curriculum which are not
part of the regular schedule. Last years choices included
a digital photography club, the Boston Children's Museum Explorations
science program and a Connecticut River watershed curriculum.
This provides the opportunity for campers to engage in activities with campers
of different ages as well as allowing them to experience their interests.
Special Events:
On the last day of every camp season, we have our annual Talent Show.
Campers and staff put on an amazing show consisting of skits, songs and dances.
Campers are fully involved in the planning for the talent show, practicing and making props.
Other special events have included Crazy Hair Day, Olympics Day, Camp Birthday Party, Hawaiian Day, Wild n' Crazy Kids' Day and Family Fun Night!

Give a cheer, give a cheer,
For the campers who are here.
We're the campers of Camp Lion Knoll.
We'll have fun in the sun,
As we swim and laugh and run.
we're the campers of Camp Lion Knoll.
It's where we meet.
It's a place that can't be beat.
Camp is where we want to be. YEAH!
Give a scream, give a shout,
we're the best without a doubt.
We're the campers of Camp Lion Knoll.
Wer're the campers of camp CAMP LION KNOLL!
